The owners of The Daily Scoop, husband and wife team Jon and Nicole Miller, are excited to bring their business to Lawrence. The couple has lived in the city for the past four years and have been working on their business plan for the past two years.

The Millers say that they chose Lawrence for their restaurant because of the city’s friendly, small-town feel. They are also excited to be a part of the city’s revitalization efforts.

The Daily Scoop will be located at 1137 E. 63rd Street, in the former home of the now-closed Dairy Queen. The restaurant will have a drive-thru and will be open seven days a week.

The Millers say that they are committed to using fresh, local ingredients in their menu items. The ice cream will be made fresh daily in the restaurant, and the coffee will be sourced from a local roaster.

The Daily Scoop will also offer a variety of vegan and gluten-free options.

The Millers say that they are looking forward to becoming a part of the Lawrence community and hope to provide a gathering place for families and friends to enjoy good food and conversation.
